PPI Award Win
The PPI Radio Awards turned out to be an amazing night for independent producers last weekend.
Tower Songs, produced for Athena Media here at DAP studios, picked up the Gold Award. Congrats to our engineer Lochlainn Harte (pictured) who enginnered the project. Great job!
Two other indie producers also won on the night: Best Documentary Feature went to Colette Kinsella for Through Ciaro Airport and Best Drama went to Zoe Comyns for Another Blooming Day.
Other awards went to independent producer, Don Swift, who picked up Bronze in the Short Feature Category for People’s Parks of Dublin and The Colour Purple for their comedy series The Emergency broadcast by Newstalk.
Such an impressive array of wins just demonstrates the quality of programmes available from ourselves and independent producers across the country. Congratulations to all.
